Welcome to the Mathis-Hof.

The Mathis-Hof is a "Buufehof zum Aalänge" - a farm to experience. Wen want our visitors to be able to feel, touch and experience the farm for themselves and we have animals to marvel at and a playground for the kids. Our cows live in a spacious free-range barn and the chickens have a huge meadow to run around in. We love animals, so we also have the two donkeys "Henry" and "Barbara", peacocks, cats and ducks.

Many people use the farm as a little oasis where they can enjoy themselves and linger. The farm is an important excursion destination in the Basel region. We invite you to browse through our website and find out more about our farm.

Discover the diversity of pumpkins! We have over 250 different varieties, making us one of the most versatile pumpkin markets in Switzerland. Our pumpkins grow in our fields in and around Bottmingen and are sold directly from the farm. Let yourself be enchanted by the colourful splendour and fascinating shapes of our pumpkins.
